Following the instructions at https://makezine.com/projects/raspberry-pi-weather-station-mount/ to install the code and do configuration, the neice and I created a weather station from a Raspberry Pi3 and SenseHAT.  It was a lot of overkill for hardware power, but it was a really fast setup.

Update 2017-11-06

Swapped out the raspberrypi3 with a PiZeroW.  Working fine and probably much lower power consumption, and buckets cheaper.
