Bright Shiny Bbq (barbeque) is a project to test the viability of creating marketable IoT devices.
Milestone 1 - a device the reads from a single thermometer and sends that data to a db in the cloud.
I will be developing the project using a BBQ Pro BBQ Pro 5 Burner Gas Grill with Side Burner
Reasons for chosing this test platform:
- The top of it is very Bright and Shiny.
- Lots of sturdy internal places to drill and mount instruments.
- Has a wide cooking surface and five burners so multiple probes can be tested for differences.
- Side burner that I need to do some sort of test for.
